This is my, Jorge Besada’s, personal website. The great economist Ludwig von Mises writes:
“…all reasonable men are called upon to familiarize themselves with the teachings of economics. This is, in our age, the primary civic duty.”
Thus I am one of the many people who feel like we have a moral duty to help people overcome the economic ignorance which ultimately underpins mankind’s socioeconomic problems like our world wars, socialist-communist disasters and also the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
Just like it took much time for the ideas of Galileo, Kepler, Bruno and others who helped mankind overcome dogma and myths which said the earth was the center of the universe, the ideas of the so-called ‘Austrian School of Economics’ and its leading intellectuals like founder Carl Menger, and Ludwig von Mises and F.A. Hayek are the ideas that explain the evolution and workings of the socioeconomic order. Their ideas are the keys to achieving peace and prosperity and avoiding the extinction of homo sapiens via some nearly inevitable world-war-like calamity. I am one of the many people who have had the miraculous fortune of stumbling upon these men’s ideas and work to further spread them.
